In der derzeitigen Wirtschaftsstruktur der Ukraine wächst die
Rolle von Bergbau und Metallurgie weit über die Schaffung einer
grundlegenden Versorgung für andere Industriezweige hinaus. Zweifelsohne
übernehmen Metallurgie und Bergbau die Rolle einer Lokomotive wirtschaftlicher
Entwicklung des Landes, die als Katalysator für das Wachstum der
gesamten Wirtschaft dienen kann. Zugleich ist es dringend erforderlich,
eine ganze Reihe aktueller Probleme zu lösen und stategische Entwicklungsprioritäten
zu bestimmen. Gerade diese Fragen werden im Rahmen der Konferenz diskutiert.
- Globale Aspekte: Lage und Entwicklungstendenzen auf dem Weltmarkt,
Markpositionen ukrainischer Unternehmen und deren Veränderungen,
langfristige Einflussfaktoren und Entwicklungsprioritäten;
- Aktuelle Prioritäten der ukrainischen Metallurgie: Modernisierung
und Energiesparen;
- Besonderheiten der staatlichen Regulierung in der Metallurgie;
- Entwicklung einheimischer Metallkonzerne;
- Umweltaspekte in der Metallurgie (u. a. Kyoto-Protokoll und die Folgen
für die Ukraine).
Als Sprecher und Teilnehmer sind Vertreter von staatlichen Institutionen,
aus Wirtschaftskreisen und von internationalen Organisationen eingeladen.
